Alberto Branchetti – Artist, Creative, and Designer
Alberto Branchetti is an eclectic and visionary artist, creative, and designer. For over thirty years, he has explored the languages of art, design, graphics, and marketing. His vision stems from a love of architecture and art in all their forms, combined with constant study and thoughtful research that guide him in the development of innovative projects, always in dialogue with history, place, and nature.
Among his most significant creations are: the logo for the International Contemporary Art Exhibition: Armenia 2018 (ICAE2018); the texture and paper box "Scrigno" for EMP Carta a mano dal 1481; The York, Florence, and Monì furniture collections, presented at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan in 2010, 2014, and 2024, respectively. At the same time, he has dedicated himself to the world of fashion, creating the Artist Sneakers, presented at Pitti Immagine Uomo in 2019 and 2020, and the Jewel Bag collection in 2021: projects that combine art and fashion design in a personal and distinctive language.
For Branchetti, art is both an intimate and universal gesture, which he defines as "an act of courage towards oneself and of trust in the world." He signs his works as Alberto Masi Branchetti (AMB artist), in memory of his paternal grandmother, whom he considers his first and true life mentor.
He has exhibited in prestigious national and international venues, including the Venice Biennale (Palazzo Zenobio), the Modigliani Foundation, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Stockholm, Florence, Salerno, Bologna, Piacenza, Milan, Rome, Genoa, Pistoia, and Miami. He was among the first Italian artists to experiment with the creative potential of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), bringing his artistic language into the digital world.
Constantly engaged in the research and development of innovative materials, finishes, and forms, he stands out for his ability to bring together seemingly distant and incompatible industrial sectors. A macroeconomics scholar, he has published several research papers in the economics and finance journal Wall Street Italia, confirming an interdisciplinary vision that intertwines art, design, and economic thought.
